Red, White, and Que Smokehouse is an accredited classic American barbeque joint in Kearny owned by Marine veteran Dan Misuraca and his wife Katie. They specialize in American style barbeque, including Texas Style brisket sandwiches, Carolina Style pulled pork, and St. Louis Cut ribs. Since their opening in 2016, Red, White, and Que Smokehouse has been recognized as the best barbeque in New Jersey each year. Most recently they were recognized as the “Best BBQ Newcomer” by NJ.com, the “Best BBQ in New Jersey” by Thrillist.com, the “Best BBQ in North Jersey 2018” by NJ Monthly reader’s poll, the “Top 50 Restaurants in NJ in 2018” by Yelp.com and the “Best BBQ in Every State 2018” by Food & Wine Magazine. They have also been recognized on national television when Guy Fieri visited Red, White, and Que to feature it on his show “Guys Big Project”, which is now available to watch and stream on the Food Network app! Owners Dan and Katie are committed to serving those who served our country. They not only hire veterans, but they also have designed their own pay it forward program called, “Buy a Veteran a Meal”. In-store, they offer Red White & Que Smokehouse “Vet Meal” gift cards that customers can buy and then donate towards feeding veterans some American BBQ! They also partner with veterans organizations throughout New Jersey by contributing meals to veterans in need. They chose Kearny due to the great veteran organizations it is home to, as well as the great neighborhood.
